The venue comprises both seated and standing space. There are a limited number of seats. These are allocated on a first come first served basis, so if you’d like a seat, please ensure you arrive early.

The story of the Abyss Quartet is one of discovery - of Ethiopian music, through the talented ‘habasha’ diaspora living all around London, of the power of its performance in a dance-driven party atmosphere fuelled by good spirits, and especially of its potential for musical exploration. Jazz, Latin, psychedelic afrobeat, funk, even klezmer, can be heard in the vicious arrangements of these four young musicians’ uninhibited alloy of hot Ethiopian grooves. Live, Abyss Quartet takes you on a journey through the streets of the real London – searing and multi-faceted, melancholic and exhilaratingly ecstatic.
