Blair Dunlop is 20-years old, a captivating vocalist, and is rapidly emerging as one of the finest of singer-songwriters, with a charismatic and vibrant stage personality – a combination that makes his shows into a thoroughly engaging and uplifting experience for his growing audience.
The son of folk legend Ashley Hutchings and singer Judy Dunlop, Blair is well on his way to carving out his own place in the musical hierarchy both as a solo performer and as a member of the reformed Albion Band. His vocals have a paradoxically light and raunchy feel, a very much ’once heard, never forgotten’ sound. On guitar, he is forging a style of his own which is quite breathtaking and he featured recently in Acoustic magazine purely as an up-and-coming guitarist.
