Canadian singer-songwriter Lesley Young "Shines with inspiration ... rich in texture and tapestry... sultry and sparkling guitar..." - to-nite magazine. This unique contemporary folk-jazz artist was finalist in several international songwriting contests, including The Great American Song Contest. She has toured with co-producer, guitarist and long- time partner John McKay-Clements since 2008. He brings alternative rock elements into the mix. Songs of love and betrayal, with psycho-spiritual themes, dominate their eclec- tic repertoire of mostly original material (and select covers). The Lesley Young Duo have been showcased at the legendary New York club The Bitter End three years running. Last year Lesley and John were performers in the Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival. They are now living in Edinburgh
