In this, our opening Concert, the NLSO is delighted to welcome back as soloist, the world-class cellist, Jamie Walton to perform Cello Concerto No. 1 by Shostakovich. Well-loved classics Hebrides Overture, Valse Triste by Sibelius, and the wonderfully spirited Pulcinella Suite by Stravinsky bring together a momentous occasion at St. Sepulchre-without-Newgate.
