Steve Bugeja
Steve is a very funny young man. Just a couple of months ago, he won the BBC Radio New Comedy Award, a trinket previously claimed by Rhod Gilbert and Marcus Brigstocke. The Chortle wrote, "(Even) Greater things surely await." You're not wrong Chortle. He's coming to Sham Bodie.

John Ainsworth
John is an amazing singer/songwriter, who'll be bringing his 12-string and a bunch of top blusey-dark rock songs to play on it. His magic fingers have octopi-like dexterity and his tunes will make you feel all sexy inside.

Jack Evans
Top Manchester comic, with bags of wit, quips to spare and an extra bag of tragic yet hilarious tales of self-loathing. Jack is on loan from his own comedy night that he runs, but we've not told him that we're never letting him escape.

Blind Date
It's the night before Valentines, so we thought 'what better than a game of the 80s/90s Cilla Black-fronted coupling pervathon Blind Date?' Nothing. Nothing is the answer. One lucky chap will get the chance to quiz three lucky ladies and bag himself a date. SPONSORED BY LEO'S FISH BAR!

Sham Bodie's host with the most, Ben Tonge will guide you through the evening's entertainment with poise, jokes and a really lovely beard.



What the what?

Sham Bodie is a night like no other. Or to put it another way, it's like lots of different, really good nights rolled into one.

How so?

First off, there's comedy. Stand up, sketches and other funny stuff from new and established acts.

Then there's music. Really good bands agree to come and play with us. To you.

There's food. No pre-drink snacking or late night kebabs for you.
Instead, you get actual tasty food delivered to your table that you can put in your mouth and say 'mmmm' about.

And there's a bit of chat too. Lovely chat.

All of that squashed together in one evening teat that's yours to suckle on for a measly ten pounds.
