Bad Bad Whiskey

BRIGHTON: The Prince Albert

SUN 28TH SEP, 2014 8pm

A rare chance to see Helen and the Horns in Brighton.

Formed by Helen McCookerybook (Joby & The Hooligans/The Chefs) in the early 80s their jazzy, rockabilly tunes with a Doris Day sound were regularly aired on John Peel's radio show. They recorded three sessions for Peelie and toured all over the UK/Europe. Recent release by Damaged Goods 'Footsteps at My Door' contains these tracks and another LP on their own label.

Skifflebilly trio Bad Bad Whiskey support.
