Hey! Manchester presents Darren Hayman and Jack Hayter playing an evening of Hefner songs

To coincide with the reissue of Hefner's classic album The Fidelity Wars, Darren Hayman and Jack Hayter will be playing an evening of Hefner music. This will be the first time since Hefner's final show in 2001 that Darren has played a full set of Hefner songs, ably assisted by Hefner's multi-instrumentalist Jack Hayter.

Hefner's second album The Fidelity Wars was the album that won them critical acclaim and a cult following. Hymn for the Alcohol and Hymn for the Cigarettes made it to numbers 2 and 3 in John Peel's Festive 50, and the album itself topped the indie charts on its release.

The re-release includes 40 tracks (29 extra tracks, 19 of which are previously unreleased) – and it also features new artwork and sleeve notes from Darren.

This is one of only a few rare performances that will not be repeated. Two London shows sold out in less than a day – so buy your tickets now!
