A brilliantly conceived thriller. Leonard, who was beaten severely by the man who killed his wife, suffers from a rare kind of memory loss. He remembers life before the murder, but is unable to recall anything for more than a few minutes since then. He resorts to taking copious notes, Polaroid photos and even tattoos himself in order to keep track. Leonard retains awareness that his wife was brutally murdered, however, and he's convinced that the culprit still walks the streets.
