Thomas Denver Jonsson returns to Manchester in support of his new album 'The Lake acts Like an Ocean'.
He has been compared to the likes of Bonnie Prince Billie, Cat Power, Neil Young and Bright Eyes and his new album has received good reviews from the Word, the Independent on Sunday, Drowned in Sound, the Sun, Americana UK and Rock Sound.
Support on the night will come from two great local acts - King Tree who plays alternative experimental folk inspired by the likes of Love, Brian Wilson, Devendra Banhart and Johnny Cash
And Victories who play sun kissed folk blues on some nice instruments.
This is all occurring in the lovely surroundings of SK which functions as a soup kitchen by day and a relaxing tapas bar by night.
