Young Attenborough

Here's some things that people have said about us...

“Young Attenborough is a band with great pedigree, featuring former members of Mega Games, The Working Dead and F-Bats and do a very fine line in riffy, indie inflected punk rock. The songs are impeccably crafted, with twists, turns and subtle changes that keep things interesting. As a really lazy reference point, they sound like a toned down, English version of Rites Of Spring, and that not a comparison I make lightly.” - Sour Grapes

“Their sound follows a pretty strong trend in UK punk rock at the minute it’s kind of low-fi, garage influenced, along the lines of Great Cynics, Bangers etc but there’s plenty of riffs and throaty singing to keep things interesting. Young Attenborough’s guitar work is a highlight, jerky and full of techy ‘bits’. “A Sadness in the family” is the strongest of the three tracks, a kind of lament of the harsh realities of modern family life, it’s moody, brooding and flows better than the first two tracks, maybe an indicator of what to expect in the future if their live set is anything to go by.” - Orange Crunch

“These guys are amazing. Really switched on lyrics and excellent instrumentation displayed in every song. YA are showing a really positive and inclusive face of the scene and if there is any justice in the world they will be huge on the DIY scene and be able to give up their jobs right away. These guys are really respectful of the scene that allows us all to fuck up our lives doing this stuff and also excellent house guests. YA are a really clever and energetic band and their split with WE GROW BEARDS is fucking amazing!” - Andy Chainsaw

“Young Attenborough play loud and passionate songs about the frustration of boredom and routines. "Weak Tea and Economy Biscuits" includes the statement "What makes me angry is being locked in these boundaries." "Nor Lentil, Nor Bean" relates the tale of growing up and losing touch, where "A Sadness in the Family" presents us with the story of a family in turmoil. It may not sound like anything ground-breaking, but then, why should it? It sounds good and they're songs you can really engage with.” - punknews

The Lion and The Wolf
The Lion and the Wolf is a solo act formed from the death of a former band. The songs i play are self written, with a pure heart and an honest tongue. I am currently finishing my debut LP which will be available soon. But for now, I have EP with two tracks from said album and also some home demos available from..
