Finalising our year of Russian repertoire, OperaCoast presents an exciting Christmas programme of arias and ensembles from Russian operas, both well-loved and little-known in Britain. The soloists are upcoming English-speaking singers and for many of them this is their first opportunity to work on Russian repertoire. In preparation for this concert, all soloists received specialised music and language coaching to help them on their way towards the beauty and passion of Russian music and the stylistic and linguistic challenges of singing in Russian.

Yours, Tchaikovsky is presented in Brighton and in London in association with Sussex Russian cultural centre Kalinka and Pushkin House, the Russian cultural centre in London.
