Hey! Manchester presents White Williams and Anni Rossi

White Williams (http://www.myspace.com/whitewilliams) is the latest signing to Domino Records imprint Double Six (Eugene McGuinness, Kings Have Long Arms), which will release his debut album in April.

The ten-track Smoke will be delivered on 21 April, a week after the first single New Violence. The Cleveland-born 24-year old has previously played live alongside Black Dice, Girl Talk, Dan Deacon and the Rapture, with regular comparisons being made to Beck and maybe even Hot Chip.

Reviewing its US release on Tigerbeat6, Pitchfork gave Smoke 8.3 out of 10:

'Smoke’s signposts form a coherent musical worldview: In the Club is T. This is White Williams' first UK headlining show outside of London.
