Living city ensures a warm solid soundtrack which glides through different shades of sound. Past, present and future unreleased music are worked in the mix pushing the message that quality underground dance can be timeless.

Sd came to life as a label , in october 2002 . Lerato Khathi (Lakuti) and Alan Abrahams (Portable ) grew up at opposite parts of south africa ; with Lerato hailing from Soweto ,and Alan hailing from Bonteuhewel , a township In Capetown . They shared a common love for electronic music ; drawing inspiration from Chigaco , Detroit , Germany , Soweto e.t.c. They moved to london in 1997 & started djing and promoting events .They later established Sd .
The label is currently run from London & Lisbon . The output has been supported by dj's & artists such as Ricardo Villalobos , Richie Hawtin , Rolando , Dj Dex , Krikor , Martin Schopf Aka Dandy Jack , Zip , Ryan Elliot , Jeff Milligan , Sonia Moonear e.t.c.

EVENTS : The Sd Events have been running , regularly in London since 2000 . They also introduced many artists , to a London Audience . The events have been held in various exciting spaces such as an old wood factory , a fire station , artist studios , a basement of a hairdresser , arches , Turkish bar , clubs e.t.c.
