Mississippi Delta songbird, Bronwynne Brent’s sultry vocal timbre has been compared to Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee and Amy Winehouse. This remarkable singer-songwriter oozes class. Bob Harris, playing tracks from her stunning 2014 album, Stardust, repeatedly on his BBC Radio 2 show told listeners: “This is absolutely gorgeous - really special!"
Playing in trio format (with lead guitar and double bass backing) she is being flown in for her own headline show at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival and is also to record a studio session with Bob Harris.
