Shooting the Breeze is a brand new, hour long cinematic showcase dedicated to the making of comedy films at Shortwave Cinema.
Your host Rachel Stubbings (“She is really good” – Daniel Kitson) will curate you through a lovingly selected collection of all things film, from new releases, selected scenes, screenplays and guest speakers.
Shooting The Breeze is the opportunity to see work from the most exciting comedy talent behind and in front of the camera, on the silver screen where it belongs.
The fabulous contributors include award winning writer and actress Alice Lowe (Sightseers, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace), writer, comedian and actor Gareth Tunley (Kill List, Down Terrace); multi award winning directors Jim Owen (Can We Talk? Good Grief)… as well as many, many more.
ShootIng the Breeze is the collaborative brainchild of prize winning filmmaker, writer, actress and comedian Rachel Stubbings and award winning TV production company Lola Entertainment.
