featuring the best loved songs of master satirist Tom Lehrer
‘In my youth there were words you couldn’t say in front of a girl, now you can’t say girl’
Originally written over fifty years ago, Lehrer's songs and his irreverent attitude have survived the passage of time, though his satire is now perhaps darker and more politically incorrect than today's wits would dare risk.
Pianist, vocalist and all-round entertainer, Peter Gill relives the golden days of cutting satire, with such gems as ‘Poisoning Pigeons in the Park’, ‘I Got it from Agnes’, ‘Smut’, ‘When You are Old and Grey’ and plenty more.
Peter is well known to Brixham from his greatly acclaimed performance as Jerry Lee Lewis last year.
