Shades celebrate the launch of their second EP titled 'Lose Your Chains'.
"Lose Your Chains sees Shades hone their complexities into something all the more intense and focused. The same intricacies and math-rock nuances are still present, and melodic chords still sit comfortably alongside shifting time signatures, yet the band seem to have channelled the aggression of Existential Ambiguity into a more expansive, post-hardcore driven sound. More evident than ever is Shades' ability to create something poetic, with each track punctuated by lyrical dexterity and multifaceted story-telling."
