This Saturday presents us with an opportunity to celebrate the heritage and culture of Ireland which means we need to break the lenten fast. Most importantly you can also treat your mum which is what you're supposed to be doing the following day but she might enjoy this more. While we're at it we can also celebrate the colour green, the forthcoming spring equinox and the month in which Brunel's Thames Tunnel was open to the public in 1843. To to justice to this effort we will be joined by the ever-wonderful Nathan and Joff in the Engine House who will be joined by Irish singer extraordinarire Marmalade to sing hot jazz with more than a nod to the musical heritage of the emerald isle, I Should be Souvlaki will be sizzling their BBQ down on the terrace and the rooftop garden will be alive to the joys and drama of the upcoming greenery with the sounds of a crackling firepit, giant flares and toasting marshmallows. To get you in the spirit we will of course be serving you divine
botanical cocktails involving Irish whisky, stout and perhaps something green.
