An Evening With Aggers (Jonathan Agnew)

Event information

Cricketing Legend Jonathan Agnew will be the special guest at Catthorpe Manor on Friday 5th June for their Summer Sportsman’s Dinner.

The evening will include a delicious 3-course dinner, prepared using the freshest local ingredients by our excellent Head Chef, plus coffee and chocolates to conclude the meal. The evening will begin in the bar with a chance to meet the man himself for an informal meet-and-greet from 7pm, with seating for dinner at 8pm. At the conclusion of the meal the floor will be given over to Jonathan Agnew for around 45 minutes, followed by a question and answer session. The bar will close at Midnight.

Tables seat 8 to 10 people and tickets are priced individually at £35.00 per person. Or, a full table for 10 can be purchased for £325.00 (for a full table please contact the manor directly to book). There is no requirement to fill a table though and smaller groups are more than welcome. If booking smaller groups please be aware you may be seated with other guests.

To Start
Ham hock ballotine, with piccalli puree and sour dough melba toast
Or
Goats cheese and red pepper tart drizzled with basil oil

To Follow

Slow roasted pork belly and bacon and pea medley with black pudding and a cider reduction
Or
Leek and button mushrooms bound in a stilton cream, topped with sauteed potatoes and a nutty crust

To Conclude
Poached pear with shortbread crumbs, vanilla ice cream and chocolate ganache

Coffee, served with chocolate truffles
