Legendary blues/jazz singer Carol Grimes will be performng songs and free flowing beat poetry excerpts from her new book ‘A Singer’s Tale’.
“The Singers Tale weaves its stories, sometimes shady, mad and bad, but with music and song at their heart. Street busker to Ronnie Scotts, from Notting Hill to Nashville and Memphis to San Francisco from Hackney to Texas and Eastern Europe, but always returning to London.”

Innovative young guitarist Shirley Tetteh draws on straight ahead Jazz, Afrobeat, Blues & Bop, lighting up the music with the old spark and developing her own voice through composition, interpretation and performance. She currently plays with Courtney Pine’s ‘Venus Warriors’ project, Gary Crosby’s Groundation and Jazz Jamaica.
