DAMN TEETH
Abrasive noise rock from Scotland. There's shouting! Scratchy guitars! And unsettling electronics! Everything a growing body needs.
Reminds me in places of their sadly missed fellow Scots Divorce and also has a feel of Manchester urban legends Queer'd Science. Yes. I'm busting out Queer'd Science comparisons.
This is their first ever Manchester show before the release of their debut album. Get excited for them.
Featuring member(s) of Joanna Gruesome, Black International & Thin Privilege.
FALSE ADVERTISING
Relatively new on the Manchester scene but are already preparing the release of their self titled debut album, these productive lil punks are heavily influenced by the Pixies, Veruca Salt, Sugar etc. Basically they sound like they could be on the Mallrats soundtrack. Which is of course a very good thing.
TRIBAL FIGHTERS
Happy surf rock and some angsty pop songs. Been compared to Cap'n Jazz, Slint, The Clash, The Beach Boys and Idlewild. Which is to say, nobody really agrees about how we sound.
Our first Manchester show in 4 months. Just to prove we're not dead.
CRASH TACTICS
Two top notch dudes doing the whole mathy two piece thing. Sion was in New Hips which is like the most reliable guarantee of quality possible.
The show is at KRAAK gallery. Tickets are £3 adv / £5 on the door.
