It's Dig That Treasure!'s second birthday!
Come and celebrate with an evening of world class music, from the streets of South London to the markets of Addis Ababa.

Krar Collective
Led by Temesgen Zeleke, a former student of Ethio-Jazz legend Mulatu Astatke, Krar Collective are a trio who make a unique spin on traditional Ethiopian sounds. Massively versatile, their songs are one minute slow and serenading, the next fast and funky. The simple set up of krar, percussion and vocals may seem minimal but the sound is huge and often, in spirit, punk! Charming, engaging and hypnotically groovy, their live performances have been hailed by The Guardian, Time Out and many more. It is a real privilege to have Krar Collective perform.

Kiran Leonard
With his next record Grapefruit on the horizon and a series of dates at the UK's best festivals (End of the Road, Green Man, among others), Kiran Leonard is on his way to big things. Contributor and close friend of Dig That Treasure!, Kiran's sound brings together similar musical corners to what DTT strives for, combining Frank Zappa, Van Dyke Parks and Alèmayèhu Eshèté to make music that is at once obscure and accessible. His records are tirelessly inventive and intricately arranged, combining orchestral instruments, electronics and everyday household objects to create a frantic and full sound. This time round Kiran will be playing a stripped back - but equally as effective - solo set.

Jerkcurb
London based artist Jerkcurb describes his creations as "guitar music for squids". Combining no-wave, ambient music and easy-listening, Jacob Read makes songs that belong in sci-fi films, elevators and ocean beds. His influences spread far and wide, drawing on everyone from the likes of Ween and R. Stevie Moore to Joe Meek and Scott Walker. Jerkcurb is one of the most exciting musicians in London at this moment.
