Our Winter Concert this year features a theme of "Darkness into Light". Starting with the solemnity of a Mozart Mass, we will continue with some songs to mark the anniversary of the end of the Second World War (70 years ago this year), and finish with some celebratory and Christmas music.
The programme will include:
- Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor (K 427)
- Songs by Mendelssohn and Humperdinck
- New Composition by Alexander Campkin (World Première)
- A Selection of Popular Songs from WW2
- Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" from "Messiah"
- Christmas Carols.
We will be accompanied for this concert by string and woodwind players from the West London Sinfonia, and soprano soloists Nana Vorperian and Irina Leonova.
Note: Online sales close at midday on the day of the concert, but tickets will still be available on the door.
