Event information

This November, LeithLate presents a special season of feature films that were made in Edinburgh. This screening is in association with ootb's Freeze Frame Film Club. EVENT NOW SOLD OUT.

The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969) tells the story of a headstrong young private school teacher in 1930s Edinburgh (played by Maggie Smith) who ignores the curriculum and influences her impressionable 12 year old charges with her over-romanticized world view.

This screening is part of the BFI's Britain on Film season. Britain on Film is a major project from the BFI National Archive, Regional and National Archives and rights holders from across the UK that reveals new and unseen stories of our lives through the history of film.
