Laurel Canyon Music are proud to present a concert of Blues, Americana and Country at one of London's most historic and intimate venues. We are bringing together some of the most exciting new stars in UK Country and Blues for a very special night of music.

Lauren Housley has one of the most vibrant and notable new voices in Britain. With a style encompassing Blues, Soul and Americana, she recently thrilled audiences at the Prudential BluesFest at the O2. Lauren will be performing a very special and intimate set with her band as part of her 2016 'Sweet Surrender' tour.

Lauren originally from Rotherham in South Yorkshire, but now based in Manchester, released her excellent debut album 'Sweet Surrender' last year. An album which was written with long-time creative partner Thomas Dibb. The album confirms the arrival of a vocal and song-writing presence with tinges of blues, Americana-style country, old-school soul, pop and rock, but a warm, intense and engaging style that's all her own. From the slow-burning intensity of ballads such as 'Show Me What Love Is' to 'Ghost Town Blues' with its Motown soul influences.

Lauren has even formed a country band, who recently had one of the sisters from ultra-cool Swedish duo First Aid Kit guesting at their gig.

Hailing from County Kildare, Megan O'Neill is one of the most exciting new entrants to the world of country pop. A graduate of University College Dublin, a previous UCD Choral Scholar and long-time musician, Megan has been working hard to hone her craft since becoming a professional singer-songwriter. Megan's music is a fresh mix of modern country and pop, with a fusion of distinctly Irish elements making for a very unique sound.

Currently based in London, Megan has written internationally with many notable American songwriters. 2015 saw Megan perform many high profile concerts including the C2C festival at the O2, Time Out's 'Rising Stars of Country' and a performance at JJ Abrams' Oscar Wilde party in the US. Megan's music was also featured on the season finale of the hit US TV show 'Nashville'.

Jo Rose is an excellent singer-songwriter from Manchester who headlined his first London show last year. Jo released his debut album 'Spurs' in 2014 to much critical acclaim. He also supported First Aid Kit on their UK and European tours, including a date at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in September 2014.
