Mississippi Delta songbird, Bronwynne Brent's spine-tingling vocal style has been compared to Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee and Amy Winehouse. Bob Harris, playing tracks from her stunning 2014 album, Stardust, repeatedly on his BBC Radio 2 show told listeners: "This is absolutely gorgeous - really special!". On tour in trio format (with lead guitar and double bass backing) she was flown in for appearances at Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival last year and recorded a BBC studio session with Bob Harris.
