Event information
Originally from Grantham, Callaghan's story is remarkable. In 2009 she contacted Shawn Mullins and sent him a tape of her music. Shawn invited her to his home city, Atlanta Georgia. There they collaborated and Shawn produced her debut album 'Life in Full Colour'
In 2013 she moved to Nashville and since then her career has really taken off. She has toured America relentlessly and last year made a breakthrough in the UK. In March she played the C2C Festival in London and toured the country. One of the dates was a sold out show at Town Hall Live. She was back in the UK in July and October for more dates and will tour the country again in March 2016, stopping off in Kirton on Saturday 19th.
She also released her second album In the Spring of 2015 and songs from it have been play listed on BBC Radio 2. Bob Harris is a big fan and describes her a wonderful artist, beautiful, warm and talented.
Callaghan's gorgeous voice is unmistakably her own. Her songs pull at the heart strings, sharing love, loss and the love of life.
Support will be 22 year old Bournemouth singer songwriter Charlie Hole. He has been hailed as a new emerging talent and destined for great things.
