e're back at Soup Kitchen for another excellent night of comedy, music, chat and hot dogs. Free fricking hot dogs. What a night. This'll be our last night in Manchester for a while as we head to Salford for Sounds from the Other City in May then on to London in June. So drink it in Manchester, this is going to be one heck of a show.

SAM & TOM
Sketch duo of the highest order Sam & Tom were two-thirds of award winning group Staple/Face who have gone solo (duo) to find their own shot at the big time. Like two men children trapped in the bodies of teenagers these wayward yooths will do anything to make their dreams come true. Watch them try. They are great.
ALASTAIR CLARK
Liverpool's courtesan of alternative comedy Alastair Clark is popping down the M62 to make us laugh with his mind. What a bloody wizard. Smart, succinct and sexily bearded, we're very excited to have him on the show for the first time.
PETER FLEMING
Aging storyteller Peter Fleming is a treat for the eyes and ears, and in no way bears a startling resemblance to the Tom section of Sam & Tom. Peter has been getting rave reviews at recent appearances at other comedy clubs in Manchester such as top pals Group Therapy. Praise from Caesar.
HEY BULLDOG
Our musical guests this month are psychedelic blues rockers Hey Bulldog. A band we've wanted on for ages now but haven't managed to make schedules work. UNTIL NOW! Favourites of Steve Lamacq, Radio X's John Kennedy and any one who's listened to their pulsating cosmic riffs. HOST-AGE NEGOTIATIONS
As we mentioned earlier we're at Sounds From The Other City in May doing a mammoth 8 hour stint in Bexley Square. We have some great acts lined up and all we're worried about really is whether Ben Tonge can last the whole 8 hours. To counter this fear we are holding a game where YOU could become our host (for a bit) at Sounds on May 1st. Contestants will be put through three trials and our judges will decide who wins and who loses. More info coming soon, but if you're interested then get in touch!
