ARE Weapons
No other band captures the essence of New York City like electro-punks ARE Weapons. They have created a sound high on energy and rife with pissed off messages and have been making tracks and playing incendiary live shows since 1999. With the release of their third album, Modern Mayhem, this is a rare chance to see these NY underground legends play the UK.

Ulterior
With a series of aggressive and occasionally confrontational live shows, London 4-piece Ulterior are attracting growing acclaim. Their sound takes in a number of references: spluttering drum machines and primitive synths are pure Suicide; the air of icy aggression evokes Spacemen 3; the sullen, leather-clad image evokes the Jesus & Mary Chain; and the screaming guitar feedback evokes both. Their debut single “Weapons” was released in December 2007, with the follow-up, “15” released in June this year.
