Following up from Lighterthief's album 'Incubation' that was released in 2007, 'Stutter Drop' will be released in late 2008, and to celebrate this they will be putting on a live performance of these new songs, plus some of the classics from the previous album in an extended show. Anyone that caught Lighterthief's sold out performance at this year's Swindon Shuffle will know this is an event not to be missed!
Lighterthief is a Swindon based music collective formed in the late 1990s by musician/producer Stuart Rowe. It operates somewhere between a band , a record label and a production company and it is an output for the work of a continually evolving group of the best local musicians, singers and producers. It incorporates influences from electronica, trip-hop, rock, downtempo, ambient, jazz, blues, soul, punk, folk, classical, gospel and funk.
