every FIRST FRIDAY each Month (except August)
one of THE great nights out downstairs, each month the room goes crazy to the dance grooves of the fantastic six-piece RnB/Soul, multi-tasking, RONNIE AND THE REX...Britain's favourite party band
The evening kicks off with the band easing the evening in as we take our seats. The first set includes the ever-popular challenge the band when you will have the opportunity to test the band's ability to play one song in the style of another...
The middle section presents two or more TOP COMICS from the international circuit. Then, if you're lucky, you may catch them guesting with the band in the third jumping-up-and-down set....the tables are pulled away and we dance into the early hours.
Past shows have seen Frank Skinner singing Elvis, Mark Lamarr singing Ska and Arnold Brown leading a free jazz session!
A great night out guaranteed, and ridiculously good value!
