The beautiful setting of Rosslyn Hill Chapel is ideal for the intimate song recital. Edmund Connolly is a rising star of the singing world, and he and Sholto Kynoch (artistic director of the Oxford Lieder Festival) will perform a programme of songs by Schubert (selections from Die Schoene Muellerin), Brahms (from his only cycle, Die Schoene Magelone) and Vaughan Williams (the Songs of Travel, one of the best-loved works in the entire repertoire.
This concert will last no more than 90 minutes, including a short interval - an ideal way to spend an autumnal Sunday afternoon.
