Dogtooth– 3 piece ace face rocknroll…over driven loud and in yer face indie rock with Scally nuances…perhaps more La’s/Cast than Roses/Oasis…The Real People may also be a touchstone here. Young kids with a mod look and a gift for a raucous pop workout. With their EP on 10 inch vinyl out inn the shops just about now and an instore gig at HMV, things are really happening for Dogtooth.
The Turn– post-punk infused indie rock a-la Magazine with an occasional rhythmic and rocking blast of something a bit rawer, early Clash, The Jam and Wire maybe.
