In September 2017 Cathy Lomax brings her exciting exhibition The Blind Spot to Swindon Museum and Art Gallery. In this superb talk, Lomax will discuss the ideas behind the works on display, which focus on identity, how we look at ourselves and how we are looked at. She will also talk about previous work and projects, which are driven by a personal exploration of popular culture, beauty, celebrity and identity. Lomax won the Contemporary British Painting Prize in 2016 and was an Abbey Painting fellow at the British School at Rome in 2014.
