SCANNERS "Like an anti-Magic Numbers - two boy, two girl outfit cut switchblade-like through the bon-homie. With punching bass lines and tribal drums they roar with gutteral fury. Their infectious tunes are both beautiful and dark as well as upbeat crystalline harmonies... brooding Mazzy Star-like epics... deathlessly sexy electronic pop..." Drowned In Sound.com
"Stumbling on their set at Beauty Bar while looking for another band, Scanners was the kind of happy accident that makes SXSW such an awesome adventure. Fronted by a raucous female lead singer (Sarah) and a scorching female lead guitarist (Amina), they were a refreshingly feminine jolt of London pop in a festival of bands that can sometimes be dominated by the boys." Spin.com
"Since the days of Joy Division and the like, nobody has really grabbed the Moog and run with it as well as these two gals and guys. Lead singer Sarah Daly is a little bit Siouxsie, a little bit Stefani and is a darn fine, pitch-perfect, vibrato-free rock-&-roll singer." La Weekly
TELEVISED CRIMEWAVE The music is a dark pop noir with elements of Pixies abrasive squall mixed with Pavement style lo-fi melodies. 'Listen and Repeat' is a great song with Wilsons vocals confident and creepily riding the evil wave of sound created by the band, electric and relentless. 'Kids' on the other hand is a bass heavy pop song driven again by military style drumming and a keen ear for a killer chorus.
'There's something theatrical and majestic about TINY SPARK... It's a fantastic combination of all that's good about British Pop-Rock music.' - www.toxicpete.co.uk 'Epic, thoughtful rock with an alt-country twist.' - Music Week
