THE BOWMANS’ sound is at once unique and prototypically American. Shades of Americana connect with characteristics of modern singer-songwriters; vaudeville blends with indie-folk; undertones of classical influences meld with loads of rock and roll edge. Though the Bowmans have worked together almost since their birth, they are beginning an enlivening new chapter in their richly musical lives.
ADRIANA’s curious slant on the Americana and singer-songwriter genres has proved such a success that she is now regarded as one of the best talents in the independent Scottish music scene. Blending Americana, folk and rock styles and boasting a stunning vocal range, Adriana made headlines in the summer when T in the Park boss Geoff Ellis handpicked her to support Sheryl Crow in the American superstar’s only UK headline date of her tour. 2008 saw Scots-Italian singer-songwriter, Adriana also receive five-star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe, turn heads in London’s live music scene and embark on her first English tour - all while recording her debut album.
PLEASE NOTE: the venue comprises both seated and standing space. There are a limited number of tables. These are allocated on a first come first served basis, with priority given to diners. If you’d like a table, please ensure you arrive early (doors open 7pm).
