The Peepshow only comes out to play on special occasions, and this one is particularly special. 27th February is not only my Mum's birthday, but also when Introducing play their first London show. Having already blown away the crowds at Festinho, and at a sold-out show at Skylarkin' in Oxford last year, this eight-piece are set to go huge in 2009.

The Guinness Book of Records lists DJ Shadow's seminal Endtroducing as the first album to be composed entirely of samples. So, the proposition of a band made up of real people, playing real instruments, recreating this record completely live from start to finish, note for note, drum loop for drum loop, word for word, with no backing track or sequencing would on paper seem to be an impossible one - yet Introducing pull it off in true style.

Feast your eyes and ears on some youtube clips from the aforementioned shows, at:

Also on the bill is Flevans, who celebrates the launch of his 3rd album '27 Devils' with a DJ set, having recently resigned to Tru-Thoughts. Live support comes from Laroca, who will be previewing material from their forthcoming second album 'Valley of the Bears', out in June on Just Music, the label which launched the career of Coldplay associate, Jon Hopkins, now signed to Domino. Resident DJ and promoter Peepshow Paddy, co-founder of the infamous 'Disco Shed' completes the musical line-up.

Peepshow wouldn't be complete without visual accompaniment of the highest order, which comes from VJs Myogenic and Mach V, who will be interspersing live footage of the show as it happens.

About Peepshow

Peepshow brings together the best elements of modern day clubbing in an unpretentious environment, acting as a showcase for some fine emerging, and some more established talent. Expect quality music from across the board, played by DJs and performed by live acts, together with amazing visuals provided by some of the best VJs in the business, but most of all, expect a damn fine party!

Started in Oxford in 2003, and now bringing its unique party vibe to the capital, Peepshow first introduced Oxford to acts such as Mylo, Ulrich Schnauss, Freeform Five and Hexstatic. It quickly earned a reputation for putting on quality events, with billings as best club in the South in the Guardian, 4th best night in the land in DJ Magazine, and as "Oxford's most inventive and eclectic dance club night" in the Oxford music press.

With an eclectic music policy, expect to hear anything from the funkier end of the musical spectrum, taking in electro, techno, drum n bass, deep house, latin, breaks, hip-hop and pretty much anything else along the way.
