Event information
Renata Rosa, Brazilian singer, songwriter and rabeca player brings the entrancing sounds of the north-east of Brazil enriched with the subtle influences from the East of Europe, Middle East and North of Africa. Her band play ten and seven-string guitars and percussion characteristic of the Brazilian Pernambuco state. In 2017 her new album Encantações was chosen as one of the Top of the World list in Songlines magazine in the UK. Renata leads a workshop on Tue 7th June at 7.30pm – details on our website.
