Event information

Are You Ready To Be Distracted?

Come one come all as MITCH BENN & THE DISTRACTIONS (KIRSTY NEWTON and IVAN SHEPPARD) present THE DISTRACTION CLUB, London's premier monthly musical comedy night, showcasing the finest acts in the genre, from it's longest standing veterans to the brightest up-and-comers, combining everything that's great about music, comedy and entertainment. Performances from the hosts, guest acts and a featured headliner punctuate a night revered by acts and audience alike in an intimate and unfailingly enjoyable Central London locale.

Following the annual August hiatus while the Ed Fringe takes place, Mitch and the gang return for September with a stellar lineup of musical comedy greats and their own unique brand of toe-tapping rib-tickling humour...

This month:

CHRIS TURNER
Genius hip hop improviser Chris is our headline act for the night. You know you’ll get super-impressive lyrical magic, what you DON’T know is the subject...that’s usually up to you!

RIA LINA
Mistress of the witty ditty and a long standing club favourite. Featuring many a true story drawn from her own life experiences with plenty of bite and more than enough heart.

CHARLIE PARTRIDGE
Actor, comedian, musician and event host... Charlie has many a trick up his sleeve and, having given us a short debut last year, has a longer spot this month for more of the good stuff.

ABI ROBERTS
2 jokes in the Ed Fringe’s all-time 100 Greatest Jokes list and No.17 in the UK’s Hardest Working Comics list, Abi fills our ‘New Material’ spot with something fresh and exciting!
