Event information

This event is now SOLD OUT (19 May). Sorry you've missed out.

This year, my famous annual ‘Gig in the Garden’ takes place on Sunday 7 July and will have another Americana/Country/Folk/Blues flavour with three fabulous artists to enjoy.

By popular demand, we welcome back LAUREN HOUSLEY and her amazing band. I can guarantee that we’re in for an outstanding set to finish. Lauren draws her influence from a range of music genres, with her emotive vocals steeped in Gospel, Blues and a unique blend of ‘Nashville’ flavoured soul with a hint of Americana, Roots, Pop and Rock and some killer covers thrown in for good measure. Lauren’s albums are filled with some brilliant original songs, written alongside long time creative partner Thomas Dibb, that are honest, sincere and personal. A number of tracks play listed on Radio 2 by the likes of Chris Evans, Jeremy Vine and Bob Harris. Lauren’s 2018 single 'My Sleeping Heart' saw her experimenting with an American country flavour to critical acclaim.

MICHELLE LEWIS Is a Boston bred and LA based award winning singer, songwriter and composer. Many performers live for applause Michelle just wants to make you cry, Her music is rich with melody, her lyrics find beauty in sadness. As a storyteller, she writes intensely visual songs that explore the defining moments in burgeoning and breaking relationships. More polished than folk and more personal than pop, Michelle’s songwriting is uniquely intimate. Michelle’s 2014 single 'Run Run Run' found huge popularity among Boston Marathon runners and was featured on the national cable broadcast of the race.

The ever popular DAN PIERCE joins us too..Dan played with Gloucestershire band Big Blue Sun and The Lamplight Poet folk collective in Teesside.  Dan describes his songs as ‘A slice of melancholy with a twist of hope!’ With themes including misfits, rogues and the triumphs of nostalgia. Dan mixes his set with original songs and covers and is sure to keep you entertained in his own inimitable way.

More details about artists can be found here https://revpacman.wordpress.com/2019/01/18/gig-in-the-garden-2019/
