Yazz Ahmed is a British-Bahraini trumpet and flugelhorn player, whose music blurs the lines between jazz, electronic sound design and the music of her mixed heritage. Yazz has released two critically acclaimed albums, led various ensembles in concerts around the UK and abroad, and has also recorded and toured with a wide range of artists, ranging from Radiohead to Lee Scratch Perry. Yazz will be bringing her quintet to Kenilworth ahead of her eagerly anticipated third album, Polyhymnia, which is due to be released later this year.
