John Illsley - of the legendary Dire Straits will embark on a short tour of the UK with new collaborator Greg Pearle.
Illsley – who has sold over 120 million albums with Dire Straits and toured the world countless times, is back In the saddle and ready once again to do what he does, and loves, best.
His new album 'Beautiful You' is a collection of new songs written and recorded by Illsley with Irish artist Greg Pearle, coming about following a chance meeting in a Leicestershire country pub in 2005 where Greg was performing with the Irish rock group Cunla. John was so taken by the band’s energy and Greg’s exquisite vocals that he took to the stage for the first time since Dire Straits had ended in 1993, playing Straits classics Money For Nothing and Sultans of Swing.
