We're very pleased to announce that we'll be promoting a new series of regular gigs in London in partnership with our friends Tugboat Captain. The nights will be held on the last Thursday of most months at the Cavendish Arms in Stockwell.
It's Halloween! Come and raise the roof on the spookiest night of the year with this fine celebration of pop individuality - three brilliant new bands who find thrilling new shapes and emotions lurking in the shadows! Plus we'll be playing some suitably ghoulish tunes between and after the bands, so you can rattle your bones to your favourite graveyard smashes.
Honeyglaze
Honeyglaze is the stage name of London based singer-songwriter Anouska Sokolow. Backed by her brand new band, she channels subtle melodies and sharp lyrical turns to create haunted, minimalist electro pop in the vein of Cate Le Bon and Julia Jacklin. This will be Honeyglaze's first headline show and we're very pleased to have them.

Cold Fins
A three piece from South London, Cold Fins play svelte joyous jangle pop with a destinctly Antipodean edge. Imagine early Field Mice signed to Flying Nun, or The Lucksmiths signed to Sarah, or Sodastream signed to Fortuna Pop...hang on, one of those happened didn't it? Finding bands like this is precisely what these gigs are about, so we're really looking forward to these!

Enjoyable Listens
A duo from London, Enjoyable Listens make Great Eccentric Pop like they pretty much don't any more - there's echoes of OMD, ABC, Jarvis Cocker, and every tortured dreamer who walked onto a spotlit stage convinced that melody is nothing without melodrama. If you can judge a band by their soundcloud hashtags - and you really shouldn't - then placing synthpop next to macabre says it all. Happy Halloween!
