Kate Scott’s work is influenced by her British / American roots. Her poems cover a range of subjects that apply to everyone; there are poems about being a child, a teenager and a parent, found poems about dementia, poems about illness and growing older; poems interviewing artists; and poems about the landscape of West Dorset and the stories of its people.
Poetry Café offers food, drink and live literature in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Local writers are invited to book an 'open mic' spot in advance with Pam Zinnemann-Hope (01300 320826) or Zenobia Venner.
