The infamous Soul Reality Collective showcase their exciting new venture ‘the Psychedelic Circus‘ which gives a contemporary twist to the best of the 60’s ’summer of love’ groove rock/soul scene, originally characterised by acts like Isaac Hayes, Buddy Miles, Janis Joplin and Sly and the Family Stone. Fronted by two of the best and most charismatic young singers on the circuit, the dynamic Sammy Sarfas and the amazing Johanna Harman, considered the most exciting singer of her type to play the venue since Amy Winehouse. The band also includes the amazing guitar playing of Terry ‘Wah Wah’ Lewis who has worked with members of Jools Holland, Prince, AWB, David Sanborn and more. This new line up will take you on a funky, soulful sound ride with attitude, visuals and a kick-ass band designed to move and groove. Very special guests will be Bruise, a London based duo whose unique, lush, enigmatic, music has brought critical acclaim from, amongst others, BBC Radio, the Times and the Wire. ‘Emotionally stretched, heartbreakingly sexual. Damn fine.
