No, not that one, as it goes….. number ten is Charlie's house in Chinley, Derbyshire, which he has only recently exited after many gruelling months of touring his kitchen. ( ‘Warmly received by the cooker, truly cool by the fridge - Charlie Moritz never fails to cook up a storm.’ Middle Eight).

Freed at last from the lovingly protective measures of Her Majesty’s Misgovernment and keen as mustard to rewild himself, this popular Peak District based singer-songwriter returns to his favourite venue on the planet, Buxton’s glorious Green Man Gallery, armed with a clutch of songs and tunes, some brand spanking new cooked up in his Covid fastness, some ‘used and showing slight signs of wear but in very good condition’.

Singing along to some mean guitar and with the occasional stand alone tune, Moritz’s material encompasses current and trad, funny, serious and sad. Charlie will be ably aided and abetted by some very talented musical mates along the way including ace guitarist Tim Walsham; wizard on wood-wind Alison Broady; classy clarinettist Carol Higgins; belting bassist Janet Wolstenholme and one or two others yet tba).

Ticket numbers limited and likely to go fast for (omg!) a live music gig in this uniquely intimate space with its wrap-around art and knock-out acoustic. So snap out of slow-mo, steer clear of FOMO and get yourself down to The Green Man!
