0PLYMOUTH: City Museum and Art Gallery
PThursday 25th March, 2010
N1:00pm

Event information

Tim Hurst-Brown - baritone
Peter Hewitt - piano

Experience the story of Gilbert and Sullivan as seen through the eyes of George Grossmith, the actor who created the comic roles in the immortal Savoy Operas. Grossmith gives us an insight into WS Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan and enables us to meet the Sergeant of Police, Ko-Ko, The Lord Chancellor, Major-General Stanley et al – all of which adds up to an enjoyable, light-hearted mix of stories, songs, poems and music.
