Perhaps best described as " a veritable musical Magpies nest " ( BBC Radio 3 )
Blending traditional instruments, folk melodies and subtle electronic influences they've toured extensively throughout Europe, Australia, and New Zealand inc UK shows at the London Palladium and Hammersmith Apollo.
After live sessions with BBC Radio 2 and Radio 6, Glastonbury appearances and BBC Introducing backing they released The Gap in 2020 with FRUK declaring them " one of the truly great pioneers in folk music."
Mishra, an award winning folk duo formed in 2017. They weave a tight web of intricate, Indian influenced original music that defies definition. They draw on a unique base of influences encompassing folk music of the UK and America, Indian classical music and soul to create a surprising accessible sound that audiences instantly connect to.
