Bonfires is an indie alternative rock band formed in Cheddleton, Staffordshire. Members are Stuart Whiston (vocals/guitar), Darren Edwards (bass guitar) and Mike Lo Bosco (drums). The band found it’s name during a late night rehearsal on November 5th, 2008. They count early Oasis, early U2, The Sound, Echo & the Bunnymen, Cure, Beatles and The Smiths as major influences, combining soaring melodies and guitar hooks with a lyrical commentary on their social surroundings and life experiences.
