Let us serenade you with our very own live mixtape, lovingly compiled as the soundtrack of the night, because above all - we love good music. But we do fancy you. Honest.

The weather being so gloriously sunny and flipflop-clad, August at Mixtape is a chilled-out affair blending acoustic mellow with sexy soul for the perfect Summer evening. Bring your brollies.

MIKE DIGNAM - Preston’s very own answer to Jack Johnson, Mike Dignam brings a bit of musical sunshine into our Summer with his soulful acoustic sound and colourful lyrics. The antithesis of depressive singer-songwriter clichés, tracks from his recent independent release ‘World Of Our Own’ will leave you feeling energised, inspired and heartbroken all at once.

ISOBEL ANDERSON - Fresh from playing at The Secret Garden Party, Isobel Anderson presents an intimate set (complete with auto-harp) with tracks from her self-titled, self-released solo CD. Delicate melodies and emotive lyrics combine beautifully with her captivating live presence – prepare to find yourself a little bit in love with her.

OCTOBER - Hailed as “electrifyingly arousing and sharply perceptive” by Glastonbury Festival, October has performed to crowds all across the world, including Australia, Italy, France, Cuba and Sweden. With intelligent, bluesy ballads and lyrics like “I said I’d eat my humble pie, but with two spoons”, we must agree with the Guardian – October is set to rock the nation!

KEITH HAUS DJs - Providing the perfect soundtrack to your night (if not your lives), Mixtape's resident djs imported all the way from Maida Vegas, Keith Haus present their own brand of eclectic delectation in the form of soul so smooth it will melt your face off.
